The weekend before Xmas eve I packed my camera and headed up to Enniscrone to get away from the madness for a day or two. Waves for the weekend were non-existant in enniscrone despite the charts indicating otherwise. Nonetheless, i spent a chill day in and around Enniscrone – the antiquated seaweed baths are reason alone to visit, the following morning I packed up and my wanderlust kicked in. I knew I should head to Easkey regardless, as its such an amazing spot and would be good to chill on the fossil laden rock formations. I drove around a good bit past it wanting to explore the coastline there. Travelling solo has its benefits at times like this as I was able to just turn down random roads/lanes and explore away. I came across some dead ends and one blissful remote beach surrounded by cattle and not a soul around..
